The terms that govern your use of the LifeTap platform.

Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the LifeTap platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service is provided by LifeTap Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and LifeTap Ltd.
Pilot and beta status
LifeTap is currently in pilot/beta. This means features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service during this phase.
By using the platform during the pilot period, you accept that the Service is provided "as is" and may not yet reflect the final product.
Account registration
To use LifeTap, you need to create an account. You can register with an email address and password, or sign in through Google or Apple.
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that happens under your account
- Providing accurate information during registration
If you think someone else has accessed your account, contact us straight away at info@lifetap.uk.
Permitted use
You may use LifeTap for its intended purpose: engaging with health and public service programmes through the platform. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape, copy, or extract data from the platform without permission
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Upload malicious code or content designed to harm other users
Intellectual property
The LifeTap platform, including its design, code, content, branding, and all associated materials, is owned by LifeTap Ltd. All rights are reserved.
You retain ownership of any content you submit through the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Limitation of liability
LifeTap is a non-clinical behavioural engagement platform. It doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Don't rely on the platform for clinical decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- LifeTap Ltd won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that can't be excluded under English law.
Termination
You can stop using LifeTap at any time by deleting your account. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We'll handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
We recommend checking this page periodically.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
